Jeddah, September 11, 2023, SPA — Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Ibrahim Taha expressed solidarity with the State of Libya following the hurricane, torrents and massive floods that have submerged parts of the country, causing loss of life and property.
Taha expressed sympathy for the victims, government and people of Libya following this disaster, and praised the efforts of the authorities to contain it. He also called on the member states to show solidarity with Libya, urging them to provide urgent assistance to those affected.
