Bahrain condemns Kirkuk terror blast


Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): Bahrain condemned the explosion of a truck bomb in the city of Kirkuk in Iraq, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and wished speedy recovery to all those injured due to the terrorist act.

It affirmed solidarity with Iraq and backed security measured to maintain its stability, reiterating Bahrain’s firm rejection of all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, regardless of their sources and motives. In the statement, the ministry urged concerted efforts to root out this dangerous phenomenon and achieve international peace and security.
