20 Jordanian companies participate in Qatar’s AGRITEQ 2023

Doha, Mar. 15 (Petra)–The 10th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AGRITEQ 2023) kicked off Wednesday, with the participation of 20 Jordanian companies working in the field of production, distribution, marketing and export of agricultural products.

The participating Jordanian companies represent the Kingdom’s agricultural sector, foodstuff and cattle production in the field of vegetables, fruits, dates, fertilizers, pesticides, industrial and agricultural equipment, drip irrigation tools, medicinal herbs, spices and foodstuffs, according to a statement issued by Jordan Exports (JE), the organizer of Jordan’s pavilion at the fair.

The five-day event is held, with the participation of more than 675 companies specialized in agriculture, food and animal production, representing 55 Arab and foreign countries, the statement said.

Director of the Jordanian pavilion, and the JE, Khaled Soub, said Jordanian companies’ participation in the fair aims to explore any “new and successful” investment opportunities with Qatari firms, promote Jordanian agricultural products and increase their presence in the Qatari market.

In remarks to “Petra,” Soub said Jordanian agricultural production enjoys “remarkable” demand in the Qatari and Gulf markets, which provides a “solid” ground for enhancing efforts to market and develop these products and conclude contracts and partnerships with Qatari investors, businesspeople and companies in this regard.

Soub noted Jordanian companies’ managers are “keen” to “actively” participate in this exhibition annually, adding that the Kingdom’s participation achieves “remarkable and tangible” success every year.
