Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council organises open day for Abu Dhabi Residents Office

ABU DHABI, 23rd January, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has organised an open day for Abu Dhabi Resident’s Office (ADRO) to introduce its operations and services, specifically the Golden Visa programme in Abu Dhabi.

The event was attended by Executive Board Members of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council Sheikha Naser Al Nuwais and Marwa Al Mansouri; Hareb Al Mheiri, Executive Director of ADRO; and women entrepreneurs based in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting shed light on how to apply for the Golden Visa in Abu Dhabi in addition to a presentation on INTAMI Loyalty Application.

In her speech, Sheikha Al Nuwais said the Council plays a key role in empowering female entrepreneurs to contribute to the UAE’s sustainable economic growth, adding that “we strive to increase the opportunities for businesswomen to grow in the labour market and enhance productivity and quality.”

She noted that to achieve this, the Council constantly works on organising workshops, events, and training and development sessions to raise the awareness of female entrepreneurs of key entities, services, and opportunities that support them in achieving their business objectives.

“Accordingly, this open day event aligns with our activities and initiatives that enhance the role of businesswomen in Abu Dhabi’s private sector,” Al Nuwais stated.

“Abu Dhabi is one of the top places for doing business. The Emirate, which serves as the link between the Eastern and the Western markets, provides advanced infrastructure and regulatory, legislative and logistics capabilities that support the export of products to new markets. The Emirate was also ranked the first regionally and the 12th globally in the ease of doing business, according to a recent report,” she concluded.
