Doha, January 22 (QNA) – The Board of Directors of Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund convened its first meeting for the year 2023, under the presidency of HE Minister of Labor, Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri.
The meeting discussed a number of files on the agenda, and took several decisions and recommendations accordingly, to ensure upgrading the fund’s performance and efficiency to promote the labor environment.
Established under the law No. 17 of 2018, the Board of Directors of Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund aims to support and care for workers, and ensure their rights, as well as provide a healthy and secure labor environment. (QNA)
