Doha, September 17 (QNA) – The Board of Directors of Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund convened its second meeting on Sunday, under the presidency of HE Minister of Labor, Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri.
The meeting discussed a number of files on its agenda, most notably the cases received by the Fund, and presented statistics in that regard and the procedures followed to recover funds.
The meeting took several decisions and recommendations to ensure upgrading the fund’s performance and efficiency to promote the labor environment.
Established under the law No. 17 of 2018, the Board of Directors of Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund aims to support and care for workers, ensure their rights, as well as provide a healthy and secure labor environment. (QNA)
