Riyadh, March 20, 2023, SPA — The Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) held the “Demo Day” event at its headquarters in Riyadh, with the participation of 15 local and international start-ups, to connect startups and young entrepreneurs in the space sector with investors in order to enable and support innovative solutions for local and international entrepreneurs and develop the Kingdom’s space sector system.
The event is part of the Space Accelerator Program, which helps entrepreneurs in areas such as space tourism, exploration, satellite communications and imagery. During the event, the participating companies showcased their work to investors in order to promote their innovative space ideas and solutions.
The “Demo Day” event marks the end of the space accelerator program, which was announced in October 2022 and aims to strengthen the national space sector by developing infrastructure and enabling local entrepreneurs and companies to develop innovative and proactive solutions.
