Riyadh, September 20, 2023, SPA — Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Defense, met with a delegation from Sanaa visiting Riyadh.
The meeting emphasized the Kingdom’s ongoing support for Yemen and its people, as well as its unwavering commitment to encourage Yemeni parties to engage in dialogue to reach a comprehensive and lasting political solution under the supervision of the United Nations.
The Saudi position comes with the aim of leading Yemen towards a comprehensive renaissance and sustainable development for the Yemeni people, within the framework of enduring political stability and security that aligns with the developmental progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) system.
The Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen, Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber, attended the meeting.
