DFWAC launches ‘Emotional Security Campaign’ marking Emirati Children’s Day

DUBAI, 15th March, 2023 (WAM) — The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children celebrated Emirati Children’s Day with an exciting event full of fun activities. The event was held to support the UAE’s wise leadership, who always work hard to take care of the younger generation.

During the event, the foundation launched an “Emotional Security Campaign” to help parents understand the importance of emotional safety and how it can impact their child’s well-being. They also shared awareness publications on social media and distributed them to schools, as well as employees of the General Pension and Social Security Authority.

Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children, emphasised the importance of Emirati Children’s Day and the foundation’s commitment to empowering and developing children’s talents and abilities. Along with the campaign, the foundation hosted a “Kindness Makes Us Stronger” event for 150 primary school students, promoting emotional intelligence, anger management, and acceptance of differences.
