Amman, November 10 (Petra) – The media spokesperson for the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Authority, Dr. Tahrir Al-Qaq, said that families benefiting from the subsidized electric tariff for the domestic sector can obtain more than one meter because they are in different governorates.
She added in a press statement today, Thursday, that it is possible to obtain one or more other meters for the head of the family from a resident of a certain governorate and working in another governorate, or one of his children, or if one of the children is studying in another governorate.
“The categories include university students and unmarried workers residing in governorates different from the governorate of the head of the family who is benefiting from the support,” she added.
