Amman, 24 (Petra) – Minister of State for Modernisation of the Public Sector Nasser Shraideh Monday said the government attaches “special” importance to the financial services sector in its programmes.
In a session at the Jordan Strategies Forum on financial development, Shraideh said the government listed the financial services sector as a priority according to the action plan for the economic modernisation vision for 2023-2025.
He added that the government is working to remove obstacles to support the recovery of the Jordanian economy in a way that guarantees to realise growth and create job opportunities, investment and partnership opportunities with the private sector.
He said the government plans to achieve its growth goals by creating an attractive business environment and restoring confidence in the investment environment in Jordan, noting the “important” role of the Amman Financial Market in achieving financial development.
