GASTAT: Saudi Arabia’s merchandise exports increased by 3.6% in November 2022

Riyadh, January 25, 2023, SPA — Saudi Arabia’s overall merchandise exports increased by 3.6% in November 2022, compared to November 2021. The value of exports amounted to SAR 112.8 billion in November 2022, up from SAR 108.8 billion in November 2021, according to the International Trade Report for November 2022 released today by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) on its official website.
This increase originated mainly from oil exports, which rose by SAR 9.5 billion or 11.8% in the same period, increasing to SAR 90.0 billion from SAR 80.5 billion in November 2021.
Non-oil exports (including re-exports) decreased by 19.7%, compared to November 2021, decreasing to SAR 22.7 billion from SAR 28.3 billion in November 2021.
Merchandise imports increased by 26.5% (SAR 13.1 billion) in November 2022. The value of imports amounted to SAR 62.7 billion in November 2022 compared to SAR 49.6 billion in November 2021.
