KSrelief Concludes ‘Noor Saudi Arabia’ Volunteer Program to Combat Blindness in Sri Lanka

Colombo, September 18, 2023, SPA — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded yesterday the ‘Noor Saudi Arabia’ Volunteer Program to combat blindness and its causes in the city of Kattankudy, Republic of Sri Lanka, in cooperation with the World Sight Foundation. The program was held from September 11 to 17.
During the campaign, the center’s volunteer medical team examined 3,500 individuals, distributed 1,050 eyeglasses, and performed 525 specialized surgeries, all of which were completed successfully.
The campaign is an extension of the projects related to combating blindness implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to support the medical sector and help patients and people with eye diseases in various brotherly and friendly countries.
