Amman, Mar. 19 (Petra) — Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa met with Belgian Ambassador Serge Dickschen on Sunday over cooperation in social security fields.
The two officials discussed partnerships in various projects and social programs, including National Social Protection Strategy programs related to persons with disabilities, the elderly, and children, according to a ministry statement.
Minister Mustafa stressed the importance of women’s empowerment and gender equality programs and the need to establish more nurseries to contribute to women’s economic empowerment.
Dickschen commended the Jordanian expertise in providing social services, especially for refugees, expressing hope for expanded cooperation.
