Algiers, September 16 (QNA) – HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani met with Wali of El Bayadh province in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Belaribi Noureddine, during His Excellency’s visit to Algeria.
During the meeting attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Algeria Abdulaziz Ali Al Naama, the Wali of the Algerian province of El Bayadh praised the joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of protecting and breeding endangered birds and animals.
In the meantime, HE the Minister of Environment and Climate Change paid an inspection visit to the Qatari center for the breeding of Houbara in the Algerian province of El Bayadh to learn about the latest developments in the final stages of the project established by the Ministry to preserve wildlife in all its forms.
Through its centers in a number of countries, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change aims at breeding animals and birds threatened with extinction in its reserves and in internal and external production centers. (QNA)
