Doha, March 21 (QNA) – Lawyers Admission Committee held on Tuesday a meeting chaired by HE Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohammed Al Amri.
The committee considered the topics on its agenda, including the swearing-in of four new lawyers before the committee, and examining applications for the registration of three corresponding business owners in the list of practicing lawyers.
The committee reviewed the applications of a number of new lawyers whose training period has ended, interviewed a number of applicants to practice the profession, and approved the list of six under-training lawyers.
The committee also considered requests to transfer of three lawyers to the list of practicing lawyers before the Court of Cassation and the Court of Appeal, and considered canceling the list of three under-training lawyers.
During the meeting, the committee covered a number of organizational issues and controls for the work of the legal profession, and the appropriate decisions were taken in this regard. (QNA)
