Jeddah, September 12, 2023, SPA — The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha, received at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah today, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the OIC, Akram Karimi.
The OIC Secretary-General stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the OIC, adding that the OIC attaches importance to the Republic of Tajikistan and the Central Asian region.
The Permanent Representative of Tajikistan reiterated his country’s continued support for the OIC and its activities.
The two sides exchanged points of view on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
