Riyadh, September 19, 2023, SPA — The participants at the 14th International Scientific Forum for the Arabic Language, held at the Islamic University of Mataram in Indonesia under the patronage of the “World Assembly of Muslim Youth,” commended the global efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in promoting the Arabic language. They also praised the continuous support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in advancing the cultural status of the Arabic language and its role in fostering communication between different peoples.
One of the main focuses of the forum was the digitization of the Arabic language, as part of a targeted language policy. More than 250 researchers and academics from both inside and outside Indonesia participated in the event.
