Amman, May 25 (Petra) — Qatar’s Ambassador to Jordan, Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, offered congratulations on the 77th anniversary of the Kingdom’s independence.
In a video clip posted by the Qatari embassy on its on social media accounts, Sheikh Saud recalled, “How the founding King Abdullah I proceeded in building the contemporary Jordanian state and laying its first building block, and how he achieved complete independence for Jordan, and His Majesty late King Talal completed the path of achievements. And over the course of 47 years, the late King Hussein bin Talal led a comprehensive renaissance in all fields, to hand over the flag to His Majesty King Abdullah II.”
He referred to the long decades of cooperation and partnership between the two brotherly countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah and His Highness Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who are keen to enhance close bilateral cooperation in all fields.
The Qatari envoy prayed to God Almighty to preserve Jordan and the Hashemite family, led by His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Hussein, and to maintain security, safety, progress and prosperity for the Jordanian people.
