Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Honors Kingdom’s Representatives Winning First Place at American Heart Association Competition

Riyadh, March 19, 2023, SPA — Saudi Commission for Health Specialties today honoured the Adult Cardiology Fellowship Training Program trainees at the Saudi Board, who achieved first place for the Kingdom in the scientific competition at the American Heart Association Conference in New Orleans.
Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Secretary-General Dr Aws Al-Shamsan, at the commission headquarters in Riyadh, met with the three winners, who are: Dr Mohammed Al Hassan, adult cardiology fellowship trainee at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, Dr Ibrahim Al-Harbi, adult cardiology fellowship trainee at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh, and Dr Ahmad Al-Heidhal, adult cardiology fellowship trainee at Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh.
The secretary-general congratulated the wise leadership for the achievement in the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during a global scientific forum to highlight the competence of the trainees of Saudi board programs, which occupy an important place at the worldwide level in terms of the quality of training and outputs. He noted that this achievement would not have been possible without the unlimited support from the leadership.
