Riyadh, September 18, 2023, SPA — The Saudi national under-23 (U23) football team will begin the kingdom’s participation in the 19th Asian Games tomorrow with a match against the Iranian U23 team at 2:30 PM Saudi time (GMT+3).
The Linping Sports Centre Stadium in the Chinese city of Hangzhou will host the match.
The Saudi team concluded final training session today at the Shaoxing Stadium, in the presence of the head of the Saudi delegation Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Abdullah.
The training began with warm-up exercises and laps around the field under the supervision of U23 coach Saad Al-Shehri.
The team also practised special set-piece plays in both defensive and offensive situations.
