Riyadh, January 22, 2023, SPA — The Secretariat General of the Senior Scholars Council strongly denounced Swedish authorities’ allowing an extremist to burn a copy of the Holy Quran.
It said: “This abhorrent act hurts the feelings of Muslims and exposes hatred that undermines tolerance and coexistence, which all rational people in the world call for,” urging the entire world to denounce this act and enact laws and regulations that prevent such abhorrent acts that only incite hatred and serve extremism.
