The Parliamentary March changes its name to the National Coalition

Amman, November 10 (Petra) – The two parliamentary blocs and programs discussed today, Thursday, in two separate meetings, the outcomes of the meeting of heads and representatives of the parliamentary blocs, which took place last Tuesday, in which the elections of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the permanent office, and the permanent parliamentary committees were discussed.
The Parliamentary Movement Bloc decided to change its name to the National Coalition Bloc, as all its 16 members are affiliated with the National Coalition Party, and it also decided that its work within the corridors of the House of Representatives would be partisan.
On the other hand, the bloc’s members agreed to support Representative Ahmed Al-Safadi in the elections for the presidency of the House of Representatives for the second regular session, which is scheduled to be held next Sunday, as well as the nomination of MP Dr. Ahmed Al-Khalayleh for the position of the first deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
During a meeting held by the Program’s parliamentary bloc, its chairwoman, MP Fayza Odaibat, said that the bloc discussed the nomination of its members for permanent office positions, as well as the support of some candidates for the permanent office site.
The meeting was attended by Representatives: Farid Haddad, Suleiman Abu Yahya, Tammam Al-Riyati, Dina Al-Bashir, Eid Al-Nuaimat, Wael Razzouk.
