We are all Jordan organizes a training course on cyber security in Irbid

Irbid, November 12 (Petra) – The We Are All Jordan Youth Authority, the youth arm of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, Irbid Branch, in cooperation with Irbid National University, organized today, Saturday, a training course on “Cybersecurity”, with the participation of a group of cybersecurity students in universities.
The trainer Mutasim Al-Obaidi talked about the definition of cybersecurity and the importance of protecting information in the public and private sectors, the challenges facing cybersecurity, types of harmful files, forms of electronic attacks, and how to distinguish and address them.
Al-Obaidi also spoke about the security challenges faced by electronic systems in general, and ways to protect loopholes against information crimes and cybercrime, in addition to talking about the importance of examining electronic systems and managing information security and ways to raise awareness of cybersecurity.
In an interview with the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the coordinator of the We Are All Jordan Youth Authority in Irbid Samer Marashda said that this course came within the authority’s policy to hold specialized courses and workshops that meet the requirements and needs of the local labor market, in order to create a new generation of young researchers in the security of Information to contribute to the development of this important field, and to contribute to capacity building and qualifying competencies of young people interested in information technology.
