Riyadh, May 26, 2023, SPA — The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said the moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active winds are still forecasted to fall in some parts of Narjan, Jazan, Asir, Baha, and Makkah regions.
The report added that thundershowers, accompanied by active winds will be forecasted to fall in some parts of Eastern, Riyadh, Qassim, and Madinah regions, reducing the horizontal sight, while the sky will be partly cloudy, with thunderstorms in some parts of Northern Borders, Hail, and Tabuk regions.
The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northeasterly to northwesterly at a speed of 10-30km/h, on the northern and central parts and southwesterly to southeasterly at a speed of 15-34km/h, on the southern part, reaching more than 40km/h towards Bab el-Mandeb Strait, with thunderstorms, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly on the northern and central parts at a speed of 10-30mk/h and northwesterly to southwesterly at speed of 15-40km/h, on the southern part.
