Riyadh, Mar 18, 2023, SPA –The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said that the moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active dusty winds are still forecasted to fall on some parts of Najran, Jazan, Asser and Baha regions, extending to heights of Makkah Region, as well as some parts of Eastern and Riyadh regions, reducing the horizontal sight.
The report added that the surface dusty winds will be active on some parts of Tabuk, Northern Borders and Jawf regions and the fog will be seen during the night and early morning hours on some parts of Najran, Jazan and Asser regions.
The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southerly to southwesterly, gradually turning westerly at speed of 15-30km/h, on the northern part and westerly to northwesterly at speed of 15-30km/h on the central part and southwesterly to westerly, gradually turning northwesterly on southern part at speed of 15-30km/h, reaching more than 40km/h, with occurring of thunderstorms, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be westerly to northwesterly, gradually turning northerly at speed 15-30km/h.
