144 Jewish extremists breach Al Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Jerusalem, July 8 (Petra) — Dozens of Jewish extremists and seminary students, escorted by Israeli police, Monday stormed into the Al-Aqsa Mosque/ Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied Jerusalem and performed prayers in a provocation against Muslim worshipers.

The Islamic Waqf (endowments) Department in Jerusalem, which administers the holy compound, said that 144 ultra-Orthodox Jews and settlers, including 40 seminary students, forced their way into the mosque plaza from the Bab al-Mugharibah Gate in a morning raid, under heavy police guard.

Israeli occupation forces tightened security in and around the compound, searching worshipers at all gates in the walled Old City of Jerusalem and seizing the IDs of a number of them.
