Amman, Oct. 20 (Petra) – The King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) launched the 20th edition of of Research and Creativity Support Project for University Students, aimed to invest in youth as an “effective” driver for developing societies by implementing applied scientific solutions.
According to a KAFD statement Sunday, the project provides technical and financial support to enhance creativity, excellence and innovation for university students during their implementation of graduation projects, in partnership with the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB).
The KAFD indicated that the submitted projects or research works should be “qualitative, applicable and sustainable,” or achieve a patent, or contribute to solve a problem facing local communities, which would contribute to creating a “productive and effective” society in scientific and educational aspects.
University students will be able to apply for support via the link: (https://join.kafd.jo), until November 14, according to specific conditions and criteria.
Launched in 2004, the statement announced the previous editions provided support for 386 project ideas.
