Amman, Nov 26 (Petra) — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti Tuesday welcomed at the General Command Headquarter of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF) Chief of the Colorado National Guard, Major General Laura Clellan, and an accompanying delegation.
The meeting tackled aspects of joint military cooperation and coordination, and ways of enhancing bilateral relations “to serve the interests of the armed forces of the two friendly countries.”
Huneiti stressed the deep relations and ongoing cooperation to harness mutual expertise in various fields to enhance the capacities of JAF.
The US general commended JAF modernization and development efforts that are commensurate with the nature of various challenges facing the region.
