Christmas tree lit at Abdali Boulevard, kicking in holiday season

Amman, Dec 22 (Petra) — Amman’s Abdali Boulevard welcomed the holiday season on Sunday, lighting the Christmas tree and inviting visitors of all ages to live an “exceptional and harmonious” experience.

“The Christmas tree was lit in a special ceremony that became an integral part of the holiday season, turning the boulevard into a winter wonderland offering free events until the start of 2025,” Abdali Investment and Development Company said in a statement.

The Boulevard in Abdali, Amman’s downtown pedestrian area that houses shops, restaurants, cafes and residences, is for the first time this year hosting a three-week Christmas market.

The market, organized by “165 Entertainment”, a Jordanian events and entertainment company, offers live entertainment, carnival games, a food market, an ice skating ring, and a bazaar of local products.

The Boulevard will also host Amman Street Fashion, a pop-up shop concept that includes fashion designers, home accessories, new startup concepts, jewelry designers and more.

Abdali Mall is also hosting Lebanese Les Createurs Christmas Edition, exhibiting a variety of handmade gifts by craftsmen from Jordan and the region.
