Gitex Africa 2024: Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health, Kaoun International FZE Strengthen their Partnership

This collaboration positions the Foundation as a key partner of GITEX’s World Future Health event, underlining its commitment to fostering meaningful exchanges in education, health and research on a global scale, the Foundation said in a press release.

Foundation entities taking part in Gitex Africa include the Mohammed VI University of Science and Health, the Mohammed VI International University Hospital in Bouskoura, the Mohammed VI International Center for Research and Innovation, the Mohammed VI Center for Continuous Training, the Mohammed VI National Laboratory for Medical Analysis, the Mohammed VI National Laboratory for Anatomopathology and the Mohammed VI International Center for Simulation in Science and Health.

As part of their participation in GITEX Africa 2024, the directors of these entities took part in a panel discussion on “Building a digital health ecosystem for excellence in training and care: the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health as a model”.

Topics covered included the strategy for an integrated health and science ecosystem, new skills and jobs in digital health, innovative medical education with simulation and Artificial Intelligence, telemedicine, training healthcare professionals with Artificial Intelligence, accelerating research with Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies, and the importance of harmonizing hospital information systems.

The Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health is fully committed to playing a major role in all policies and reforms aimed at modernizing and improving healthcare, as well as teaching in the fields of science and health.

This commitment is reflected in the creation and management of university hospital establishments, offering diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation services for patients, while monitoring their state of health and carrying out all activities aimed at serving and strengthening the national healthcare system.

In partnership with the relevant authorities, notably the governmental authority in charge of health, academic establishments, hospitals and university centers, as well as other public health institutions, the Foundation plays an essential role in transforming and improving the medical and scientific research landscape in Morocco.

Through its various entities working in the fields of healthcare, training and research, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health covers a broad spectrum of activities, from offering quality healthcare to the training of skilled professionals, and the promotion of scientific research and innovation.


The Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health signed a partnership agreement with Kaoun International FZE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), in Marrakech on the sidelines of Gitex Africa.
