Hamas denies the arrest of a movement member: Fabricated and baseless news

NNA – A Hamas official denied, in a statement, ldquo;what some media reported over the past few days about the arrest of a member of the movement on grounds of working for Israeli intelligence, as he was asked to monitor the movement of a senior Hamas figure who moves continuously between Lebanon and Syria.quot;

The Hamas official referred to the circulated news that the Israeli forces intend to carry out a landing operation near the al-Masnaanbsp;area with the aim of kidnapping the Hamas leader, during his return from Damascus, considering it as ldquo;fabricated and baseless news.rdquo;

The official indicated that thenbsp;goal is to undermine the movement and distort its reputation, in light of the victories it has made with other resistance factions in Gaza,nbsp;hopingnbsp;that the media will quot;ensure accuracy and objectivity in conveying news and information.quot;
