House Speaker visits injured officers from Rabieh incident 

Amman, Nov. 24 (Petra) – Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament, Ahmad Safadi, visited the injured members of the security patrol who were injured in the terrorist attack in the western Amman area of Rabieh early Sunday.

Addressing the injured personnel, Safadi said, “You are a source of pride and honor for all Jordanians. We stand by you to strike with an iron fist against anyone who dares to compromise Jordan’s security and stability.”

He emphasized that the unwavering dedication of the Jordan Armed Forces Arab Army and security agencies in defending the nation’s safety inspires collective efforts to strengthen the country’s internal unity, which has always been and will remain a cornerstone of Jordan’s strength in facing the sinister hands of terrorism.

Safadi also highlighted that all Jordanians stand resolutely behind His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Armed Forces, and the security agencies. He affirmed that such treacherous attacks will not deter Jordan, the bastion of Arab unity, from fulfilling its responsibilities to its nation and championing just causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

Accompanying Safadi on the visit were First Deputy Speaker Mustafa Khasawneh, and the two Assistant Speaker Mohammad Al-Mara’iyah and Huda Nafa’.
