Israel launches airstrikes on Lebanese towns

Beirut, June 23 (Petra) — Towns in southern Lebanon came under shelling and airstrikes by the Israeli occupation forces on Sunday.

A Lebanese security source said that Israeli occupation planes launched airstrikes on Sunday evening on the outskirts of Ramiya town in southern Lebanon and Dahira town in the Bekaa Valley.

He added that the occupation shelled with phosphorus bombs the forests of the border town of Kafr Kila, which caused a fire, and conducted a search operation with machine guns in the direction of the town from its position in Metulla.
