Ramallah, September 25 (Petra) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 35 Palestinians from the West Bank on Wednesday, according to a joint statement by the Palestinian Prisoners Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners Society.
The arrests included individuals who were recently released, many of whom had been under administrative detention and were re-arrested. These actions were part of widespread raids across multiple West Bank governorates, marked by severe beatings, field interrogations, threats against detainees and their families, and significant property damage to citizens’ homes, said the statement.
It highlighted that since the start of the ongoing war and aggression against the Palestinian people, more than 10,900 arrests have been made in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The Israeli forces’ arrest campaigns, which have intensified recently, are part of a systematic strategy aimed at suppressing any rising confrontations in the region, it added.
