Khawaldeh to compete in 2024 Paris Olympic Games

Amman, June 23 (Petra) – Jordanian marathon runner, Moath Khawaldeh, was picked to take part in 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will open in Paris next July 26.

Khawaldeh will engage in the marathon competitions, which will be held next August 10 in the French capital.

Recently, Khawaldeh took part in the 2023 World Athletics Championships, which was hosted by the Hungarian capital, Budapest, recording a time of 2:22:33 hours and finishing in 51st place out of 85 runners from 42 countries.

On the occasion, he expressed happiness for representing Jordan in the 2024 Paris Olympic competitions, stressing desire to make the “best” performance in the marathon race, which will witness the participation of key world athletes.
