Amman, Apr 5 (Petra) — The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces’ blatant incursion into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulting Muslim worshipers, and arresting a number of Palestinian citizens.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry affirmed the State of Kuwait’s utter rejection of this heinous attack, which constitutes a serious escalation and a flagrant violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions, the Kuwait News Agency cited a ministry’s statement as saying on Wednesday.

The Foreign Ministry renewed Kuwait’s position that calls for a speedy action by the United Nations and the international community who must take serious and effective steps to stop provocative and repeated Israeli violations, ensure respect for the sanctity of holy sites, and provide full protection for the worshipers of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Palestinian people and Muslim sanctities.
