Amman, November 25 (Petra) — The Ministry of Water and Irrigation on Monday launched the “Water Research and Innovation” platform, designed to support scientific research and innovation in addressing Jordan’s pressing water challenges.
In a statement, Director of the Water Research and Innovation Unit, Amal Sayahin, explained that the platform aims to establish a comprehensive database of researchers specializing in water-related fields. This database will include research titles and areas of expertise, streamlining communication and fostering effective partnerships between the ministry, universities, and research centers.
Sayahin highlighted that the platform will not only promote innovative research but also help avoid duplication of efforts, thereby conserving time and resources. Furthermore, it will provide researchers with updated topics of interest to advance the Kingdom’s water sector.
The ministry urged experts and researchers to participate by submitting their CVs, research titles, and areas of expertise via email at [email protected] to contribute to the platform’s objectives.
