
In a joint communiqué issued following talks between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Economic Development and Investment of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Denzil Llewellyn Douglas, the two parties also expressed their willingness to deepen and further consolidate their cooperation through the exchange of experiences and expertise in various areas of mutual interest.
Bourita and Douglas, who highly praised the current level of relations between the two countries, discussed several issues related to the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation to meet the aspirations and ambitions of the two friendly countries.
In this regard, the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis welcomed the cooperation program launched by the Kingdom of Morocco since 2013 in the field of agriculture through the provision of fertilizers which have greatly benefited farmers in member countries of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, as well as in the health and tourism sectors and in the development of human resources.
For his part, Bourita praised the results of the elections held on August 5, 2022 in Saint Kitts and Nevis, which are an integral part of maintaining good governance, prosperity, and stability in the Eastern Caribbean sub-region, the joint statement specifies.
