Amman, Nov. 25 (Petra) — The Computer Graphics program at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) has been awarded the EUR-ACE international accreditation, a hallmark of excellence in European academic standards. This milestone enhances the program’s reputation as a leader in academic innovation and quality.
PSUT President Wijdan Abu Al-Haija emphasized that the achievement underscores the university’s commitment to global standards in education. She noted that the recognition aligns with the vision of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, Chair of the University’s Board of Trustees, to position PSUT among the world’s top academic institutions.
The EUR-ACE accreditation, awarded to the program under the King Hussein School of Computing Sciences, highlights continuous advancements in curriculum development, state-of-the-art laboratories, and research-driven education.
Firas Al-Ghanem, Dean of the School, stated that the accreditation reflects the program’s ability to meet rigorous international standards. He pointed to strong academic-industry collaborations as a driving force behind this success.
Sarah Tadmuri, Head of the Computer Graphics Department, thanked faculty and staff for their efforts, applauding their role in achieving this distinction.
During an evaluation visit, the accreditation committee lauded the program for its quality, innovative practices, and the competitiveness of its graduates in local and international markets. The committee’s review included interviews with students, faculty, and corporate partners, all of whom highlighted the program’s impact.
