QRTA Concludes 2024 Forum, Emphasizing Collaborative Efforts in Education

Amman, Oct. 28 (Petra) — The Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) concluded its 2024 annual forum, gathering prominent educators, policymakers, and stakeholders from both the public and private sectors to focus on strengthening partnerships in education.

The event highlighted the power of collaboration to drive sustainable educational progress in Jordan and the region.

This year’s forum, held under the theme “Collaborative Pathways – Elevating Education through Partnerships,” brought attention to cross-sector efforts to tackle current educational challenges and align with future demands.

In a statement, QRTA CEO, Osama Obeidat, emphasized that no single sector can address the growing complexities within education alone, and that public-private partnerships are essential to creating a responsive and resilient educational system for future generations.

Throughout the two-day forum, 35 speakers and facilitators from 14 countries and renowned educational institutions led sessions, offering insights into global best practices. The opening session featured Luis Benveniste, Global Director for Education at the World Bank, as the keynote speaker, setting the stage for impactful discussions.

On the first day, educators led virtual workshops that covered diverse fields, providing a platform for hands-on experience and knowledge-sharing. The second day showcased panel discussions focused on the forum’s central theme, covering topics such as supportive environments for partnership-driven educational policies, continuous professional development for educators, and the role of community engagement in creating optimal learning spaces.

According to QRTA, this year’s forum offered attendees the opportunity to explore and share innovative solutions to enhance teaching practices. Obeidat reaffirmed QRTA’s commitment to promoting such partnerships and supporting educators by equipping them with the tools needed for their professional growth.

To facilitate broad participation, the forum was interpreted in Arabic, English, and French, ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience. The event emphasized QRTA’s mission to foster a shared vision for education that promotes collaboration and innovation.

As an annual gathering, the QRTA forum continues to serve as a cornerstone for educational development, enabling professionals to exchange ideas, build lasting partnerships, and develop effective strategies to meet the evolving needs of students and the educational sector.
