Relatively hot weather forecast Wednesday 

Amman, June 26 (Petra ) – – The Jordan Meteorological Department has issued a forecast predicting elevated temperatures across the kingdom for the upcoming days.

Wednesday’s weather is expected to be relatively hot in most regions, with higher temperatures in the desert, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba areas. Moderate northwesterly winds, occasionally intensifying, are anticipated.

According to the department’s report, Thursday will see the kingdom affected by a weak extension of a thermal surface low, resulting in a slight temperature increase. Most areas will experience hot conditions, with the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba regions facing very hot temperatures. Moderate northwesterly winds are forecast, potentially strengthening, particularly in desert areas.

The heat wave is projected to continue through Friday, with most regions remaining hot and the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba experiencing very high temperatures. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected to persist, occasionally intensifying.

A minor temperature decrease is anticipated for Saturday, bringing relatively hot conditions to most areas while the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain hot. Moderate northwesterly winds are forecasted, periodically increasing in strength.

Today’s maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman range between 23-33 degrees Celsius, in western Amman 21-32C, in the northern highlands 20-30C in the Sharah highlands 19-314C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 28-43 degrees Celsius.
