Royal Court Chief condoles families of Armed Forces martyrs

Amman, June 25 (Petra) — Royal Court Chief Yousef Issawi Tuesday offered his condolences on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein to the families of two armed forces martyrs, who died Sunday in the overturn of military trucks, part of a relief aid convoy heading to the Gaza Strip.

During a condolence visit to the homes of Sergeant Imad Al-Arram and Private Yahya Sayyah in Zarqa and Irbid governorates, Issawi conveyed the sympathies and prayers of His Majesty and the Crown Prince to their families, hailing “the martyrs who passed in the national duty toward the people of Gaza.”

Also offering condolences were the King’s Advisor for Tribal Affairs, Kneiaan Bluwi, and Royal Hashemite Court Imam Ahmad Khalaileh.

The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) General Command announced on Monday the death of Al-Arram and Al-Sayyah of the supply and transport corps, and the injury of two other soldiers, when three military trucks in a Gaza-bound aid convoy, veered off the Dead Sea/Adassiyah road and overturned.

JAF reiterated it will continue to send humanitarian relief aid to the people of Gaza who are facing difficult conditions.
