Talbi El Alami Attends 2nd Annual Conference of African Parliaments Speakers in Johannesburg

The conference is being held in the context of the Pan-African legislative institution’s September session and the meeting of its Standing Committees and other bodies.

This new session takes place under the African Union’s theme for 2024: “Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa”.

The Pan-African Parliament is a consultative assembly of the African Union, made up of deputies from the member countries of the African Union. It was established under Article 5 of the AU Constitutive Act and officially installed on March 18, 2004.
 

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, took part on Wednesday in the 2nd Annual Conference of Speakers of African Parliaments, being held on September 18-20 at the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) headquarters in Johannesburg.
