Amman, Nov. 11 (Petra) — Minister of Transport Wissam Tahtahmouni met with Palestinian Minister of Transport and Communications Tarek Zaarab to discuss measures that would enhance transportation cooperation and overcome any barriers to the flow of products and passengers between the two nations.
During the discussion, Tahtahmouni emphasized Jordan’s commitment to supporting Palestinians by providing vital infrastructure, particularly for the movement of passengers and products across the King Hussein bridge.
She emphasized the depth of the two countries’ historical bonds, which are bolstered by strong economic and social ties.
Minister Zarrab highlighted Jordan’s efforts to facilitate the flow of people and commodities between Jordan and Palestine, praising the country’s crucial role in assisting the Palestinian transportation industry.
