WB/IMF Meetings: Minister Fettah, British Chancellor of the Exchequer Hold Talks

During the meeting, discussions focused on bilateral economic relations and the various opportunities for strengthening them.

On this occasion, the British official welcomed the dynamic reforms and progress made by the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as its resilience following last month’s earthquake in the High Atlas provinces.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss issues of common interest, including sustainable economic development on the African continent and opportunities to strengthen relations between economic players in the UK and the Kingdom of Morocco.

The meeting was attended by Simon Martin, UK ambassador to Morocco, and several senior officials from the UK Treasury.

Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, held talks on Thursday in Marrakech Jeremy Hunt, British Chancellor of the Exchequer, on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
