World Para-Athletics Championships (Japan-2024): Morocco’s Ayoub Sadni Wins Gold in 400 m (T47)

Ayoub Sadni topped the field with a time of 47 sec 30/100, beating South Africa’s Collen Mahlalea (48 sec 66/100) and Uzbekistan’s Marufjan Murodulloev (49 sec 27/100).

This marks Morocco’s 6th medal of the World Championships (2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze). Youssra Karim won the other gold medal in the discus throw (F41), while silver was claimed by Fatima Ezzahra El Idrissi (1500 m/T13), Abdelilah Gani (shot put/F53), and bronze by Fouzia El Kassioui (javelin throw/F34) and Saïda Amoudi (shot put/F34).

Around 1,300 athletes representing 100 countries are competing at the Para-Athletics World Championships in Kobe.

Moroccan athlete Ayoub Sadni won, Wednesday, the gold medal in the 400 m (T47) at the 11th World Para-Athletics Championships taking place in Kobe, Japan, until May 25th.
