Ambassadors Visit King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center

Amman, Sep. 23 (Petra) – Country ambassadors visited the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) on Tuesday and were received by the center’s director general.

They were briefed on the center’s advanced training capabilities in counter terrorism, special operations and joint military exercises, as well as the mechanism for cooperation with countries receiving training at KASOTC.

The director general said the center provides a unique environment for building combat capabilities by combining cutting-edge technologies with real-world operational experience. He added that the center reflects Jordan’s commitment to working with partners and allies to address global and regional security challenges.

The delegation toured the facilities and training areas, and they praised the center’s “advanced” level and role in preparing special forces regionally and internationally.

Established in 2009 under King Abdullah II’s vision, KASOTC serves as a global hub for training, cooperation and knowledge exchange in special operations, counter terrorism and internal security.
