
Amman, September 29 (Petra) – Ministry of Transport Secretary-General Fares Abu Dayyeh on Monday discussed opportunities to develop sustainable and green transport projects with officials from the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI).
The meeting reviewed ways to reduce carbon emissions and operating costs in the transport sector, support public transport operators, and align with the Kingdom’s economic modernization vision.
Participants stressed the importance of improving service efficiency, enhancing the passenger experience, and achieving positive environmental and economic impacts through sustainable transport projects.
GGGI officials expressed readiness to provide technical support, conduct studies, and identify projects related to sustainability in close cooperation with the Ministry.
GGGI is a leading international organization that supports sustainable development programs and promotes the transition to a green economy in developing and emerging countries.
