Amman, Sept. 30 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi on Tuesday received Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Strategic Development Sardor Uktamovich Umurzakov.
Safadi and Umurzakov discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and follow up on the outcomes of the meeting between His Majesty King Abdullah II and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the King’s visit to Uzbekistan last month.
Both sides affirmed the depth of the friendship between Jordan and Uzbekistan and expressed keenness to expand cooperation in trade, investment, culture, agriculture, and other fields.
